| Comments: | Hi Mark, Your story really hit home for me. My dad was in the 1st Cav in Vietnam from '66-'67. So I grew up listening to similar stories about the war. (Guess I wasn't the only kid who knew what heuys, grenades, M16's, rice patties, agent orange and C rations were!) Just spent Veteran's Day weekend with my dad in Washington DC. The Vietnam Memorial has been a very healing place for him. Like you...am very proud of my dad and of all the vets and am honored to be the child of a Vietnam Vet. |
